Forest School Vision Statement

At Forest School, all children will be given the opportunity to explore and will be given the freedom to choose what they want to learn. By focusing on holistic development, children can explore without restrictions and learn new skills (using tools and creating objects using found resources) as well as learning about their environment (identifying flora and fauna for example). Forest School also helps to teach children to take responsibility for their own learning, develop perseverance, collaborate with each other, show kindness and respect to each other and the environment. Forest School is a wonderful place for developing relationships with classmates, sharing new experiences, being creative and is also great for Physical Development. All children should be given the chance to develop and grow through Forest School sessions, whatever their abilities are.
