Registration for the Medway Test opens on Monday 18 May 2026 and closes on Friday 12 June 2026. The presentation also includes other important key dates.
The information will also help parents and carers make an informed decision about which school to apply to for their child.

Key Dates
Registration for the Medway Test starts on Monday 18 May 2026 and closes on 12 June 2026. Submission of special arrangement requests is from 18 May 2026 until 22 June 2026 inclusively.

Familiarisation Guide
This guide provides the layout and format of the Medway Test. This is not a practice paper. Practice papers can be found on the GL Assessment website (click here). Each pupil who has been registered to sit the test will be emailed a link to this guide at the beginning of July when the final candidate list has been confirmed.

Leaflet
Each Medway school will receive leaflets regarding secondary admissions for September 2027 and how to register for the Medway Test. These will be given out to the children and scanned and put on this webpage.
