Homelearning Term 2 Week 3 

 

Some Information for Parents:

When you use the grid method, you break up the number into hundreds, tens and units. Multiply each separately and then add the answers together.

For example, 327 X 6 = 1962

 

Questions to be answered for homelearning: 

Using the grid method, try to answer these questions. Remember, we are learning about this all week so if you are stuck, make sure you ask your class teacher before the weekend!

 

234 X 5 =

45 X 3 =

67 X 4 =

732 X 2 =

 

Times Tables! 

Times tables are so important to our learning in Maths. Try to practise them as much as you can inside and outside of school. Remember to look out for the times table songs that we have been learning in class. These can be found on YouTube with your parent's/carer's permission.
