Congratulations to our
Reading Raffle winners!
They have each won a £10 book voucher.
Well done to Sara, Anna, Huey, Sean and Harry - keep up the good work!
Children were given the opportunity to earn a reading raffle ticket each week, if they had read every day. The more weeks they read for, the more tickets they had in the draw.
Remember to keep reading and recording it too, so that you can be entered into next term's raffle.
Ready, Steady, Read Challenge!
A big well done and thank you to everyone who helped raise money to buy new books with our Ready, Steady, Read and Listen Challenges.
A special thank you goes to our eleven top fundraisers, who all received a special prize.
Look out for our new books in the library and within some of our Book Bands too.
Key Stage 2
Spelling Bee Competitions
A big well done to everyone who took part in the Ready, Steady Read and Listen Challenges and recorded their reading. Certificates have been awarded by class teachers to children whom they believed showed a real commitment to reading during the challenge.
An even BIGGER well done and THANK YOU to everyone who raised money through sponsorships.
In total, you raised £1,142.80!
With commission, this comes to £1,828.48 to spend on new books for our library!
Books have been ordered, along with prizes and certificates for some very lucky children whose names will be revealed in assembly soon, once we receive our exciting, new books.
It was lovely to hear about so many children enjoying reading, so please continue to read with your children regularly to keep this passion alive!
Thank you for your continued support.
World Book Day was as huge success!
It was lovely to see so many children taking part in the 'Book Hat' challenge.
Many of the winning 'Book Hats' are displayed in our entrance area, so feel free to pop in and see how many books you can guess.
The whole school dropped everything and read for a special story time!
